As I mentioned in my stories earlier, work is incredibly busy, I’m very grateful, but I’m also tired! 2 small children and a busy business do not offer the best downtime! 😆
That said, I’m making progress in all areas (except the belly 🙄) and I love it!

I’ve finally gone under 90kg!! 🙌🏼
Pure coincidence, both me and Nick are currently sitting 17kg down, that’s nearly 3 stone each in this cut!
Our training has switched to push, pull, legs and 2 cardio/arms/abs.

I’ve found myself overtraining recently.

STOP EXPECTING 4-WEEK MIRACLES
You’re not failing… you’re just rushing.
Fat loss isn’t a 30-day challenge. It’s a long-term commitment.
The truth? Most people quit right before the results show up, usually because they’ve been sold “quick fixes” like ‘lose a stone using this supplement’ and ‘instant abs in 30 days’.
Here’s the reality:

Progress update…
Another 2kg down in the cut, sitting just above 90kg, going a bit longer than planned but progress is slower than planned. A little bit further, then a little backup before finishing the year off leannnnnnn 📸
It’s still train, kids, work, eat, step, sleep, repeat.
Too much training, not enough sleep, food has been better but still enjoying summer treats with the kids, steps are always good. Too many decorating favours recently 😆
So many clients are flying right now both in the gym and our online FatBlast group. They’re hitting incredible goals and motivating me to smash mine!!
Me and my director of global expansion (@laurameade80 ) are working mega hard with all current clients and a big influx of new ones.
Kids are amazing 🖤 and incredibly tiring 😆
She wanted it so she did it…

Another 1kg taken off!

👀 THE KIDS ARE WATCHING - and they take in more than you think…
-They see you skip meals.
-They see you crash diet before holidays or nights out.

And guess what?
You’re making them think that’s normal.
Every skipped meal, every binge, every complaint about your body - you’re teaching them how to treat theirs.
🍎 They notice when you don’t eat salad, fruit or veg.
📺 They notice you sitting on your ass every night.
You don’t need to be perfect.
Remember though, everything you do or don’t do, everything you eat or don’t eat, they’re learning the exact same habits.

When someone totally transforms physically, mentally and emotionally it really does feel like my work is complete.

This lady has done amazing and continues to do so!
She’s mega busy from a professional perspective, quite often only allowing time to train in the gym once a week.
Nevertheless she started!
We made a plan with some simple structure and habits, easily implemented into her busy life!
She followed it, she made amazing progress, we adjusted the goal posts continuously and she continued to make more and more progress!
My point is you’re capable of making the changes you want to make, you just need to start!

Consistency over perfection, always.
Could this have been done quicker? Yeah sure, but it’s enjoyable and it’s a part of my life.
It’s a lifestyle that I enjoy. It’s a lifestyle that allows me to eat what I want within reason and to really enjoy my training.
As you know I’ve got 2 small children and a business to run with lots of clients to look after. Life is intense but it works.
So what did it look like?
Top left, 2023, 111kg - heaviest I’d ever been, very miserable very embarrassed, disappointed in myself, hiding under bigger clothes, the list goes on.
I needed to change, for me, my family, my work, my life!
The first six months there was no structure, progress was minimal, I was still trying to just fit it in.
I gave myself a talking to, made a real plan and got to it, the next two months I started to see some real progress.
I then booked a photoshoot so I had a goal and a deadline.
Having never done one I hired a coach with experience of this to educate me and show me the way.
We went hard and it only got harder and harder for 4 months.
Shoot day I was the leanest I’d ever been and lightest I’d been for as long as I can remember!
Bottom left was the day before shoot day, weighing 75kg, 36kg lost in 2023! Felt incredible in all areas!!
2024 the aim was to bulk. I wanted to grow the bits that I thought needed to grow, improve everything and finish the year heavier and leaner than before.
The bulk was too enjoyable so 2025 started with another month bulking and then we realised that we were looking a little bit too fluffy so cut began.
Pic on the right was this morning. We’ve now been cutting for nearly 4 months and I’m down 11 kg.
Condition is feeling pretty good, I can see the muscle development in the areas i wanted and body fat is dropping by the week. I feel good and the happiest I’ve ever been with my physique.
Another 4-6 weeks in this cut and then we’ll reverse and decide what to do next!
Remember, make your goals huge, hold yourself to a higher standard and go get them!

The embarrassment is real.
But I guess sharing it with all of you shows that it happens to us all. We can think we’re as prepared as we need to be but sometimes we just f*ck it up.
Blame tiredness, blame bad planning, blame myself.
My point here is do your best and keep doing your best, not every day will be perfect nor should you expect it to be.
Life can just get any one of us on any day.

Macros and protein were good though! 🤷🏼♂️
She got too good… so they called her a cheater.
Read that again.
She did everything right…
Tracked her food.
Lifted heavy.
Hit her steps.
Managed her stress.
Said “no” when it was hard or didn’t align with her goals.
Stayed consistent when no one was watching.
But because her results are that good, people started asking:
“Are you sure she didn’t cheat?”
“Is she taking something?”
“Must be nice to have good genetics.”
“She must be starving herself”.
But here’s what they don’t see:
The early mornings.
The skipped parties.
The mental battles.
The discipline when motivation was gone.
She didn’t miss a beat.
This transformation wasn’t given—it was earned.
And comments like “she must be cheating” aren’t just disrespectful…
They’re dismissive, they minimize the grit, sacrifice, and effort required to make truly amazing change.
Let’s celebrate results instead of questioning them.
Let’s lift people up instead of tearing them down.
Because this is what happens when hard work meets patience.
Amazing young lady and one of the most dedicated I’ve ever seen.

I couldn’t agree more!
4 days out of 6 my training is planned and repetitive with the simple aim of progressive overload - a little improvement every single time.
The other 2 days I do what I fancy doing on the day! Sometimes the body’s saying no, so my workout is directed by that and other days my head says do what makes you feel good, so I do!
A lot of people will tell you that 6 days a week is too much, the body needs to rest and recover and so on… I used to train 5, I didn’t enjoy missing a day, probably more mentally than physically but I simply didn’t enjoy it so I changed it. I enjoy every single time I train.
On day 7 I rest and usually get a lay in with the kids (6am instead of 5am 😆🙌🏼
My point is simple, do what works for you and make sure you enjoy it! Never compare yourself to what someone else is doing, you don’t know why they’re doing it!
Concentrate on you and enjoy the journey!!

Progress update…
You might have seen this on my story earlier, I’m currently 95kg, 7kg down from the start of my cut.
The photo on the left was 2 years ago when I did my first big cut. As I explained the other day, I was low, probably the lowest I’d ever felt. In this photo I was 95kg too, look at the difference!!
How? I completed the cut, losing 36kg in total. I was fairly lean at the end and extremely light, 75kg! Uncomfortably light for a guy who’s been over 100kg most his life!
So the next step in the process was to bulk, an idea that scared both men and women!
Nobody wants to intentionally gain weight do they! Yeah actually they do, if they want to build muscle tissue! You’ve got to eat more and train harder. So I did, for 14 months! Was it perfect, no? Could I have done it better, for sure! But I did it, adding 30kg of combined fat and muscle tissue back on!
On to cut number 2 and you can see already the difference. Much more muscle tissue means a much better shape, it means leaner whilst keeping more weight!
I’m aiming for another 10kg off to see how I look at 85kg, 10kg above where I finished last time. I’m hoping to be leaner than before but bigger and heavier!
So there’s the Sunday night update, my own little piece of accountability and a brief overview of why people cut and bulk continuously!!

No confidence, miserable, embarrassed, I’ve been there. I’ve felt what you feel.
Hiding under baggy clothes, avoiding stripping down in public for any reason whatsoever, anxious about taking the kids swimming or on holiday.
I felt like shit. Life got on top of me. I was in the biggest rut of my life. Recovering a business from Covid, navigating the parenting world with 2 kids under 2, plus a whole host of other factors, I was burnt out.
Then that one picture changed everything. It was at centre parcs on the kids first little holiday. I was ashamed. I’d led so many others to body transformations whilst letting myself get to here.
It was then I made that commitment to myself and my little family to fix it and never go back.
So when I say I know how you feel, trust me I do.
Going through such times I’ve experienced first hand the struggles, the physical and mental pain and the wrong ways to do things.
I felt like shit but I don’t totally regret it. It made me a better coach. Better equipped to help all of you through it and out the other side to a happier, healthier, more enjoyable life.
